Competitive pay rate: $32.19/hr.

1st Shift schedule: 4:50 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.

12-month contract.

Hands-on, active role in a state-of-the-art aircraft manufacturing environment.
-
Gain valuable experience with advanced avionics and electrical systems in the aerospace industry.

Installing and functionally testing avionics and electrical components per engineering specs, drawings, and manuals.
-
Troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing malfunctioning systems, wiring, and components using proper techniques (splicing, soldering, pinning).

Setting up and operating test equipment; conducting operational and reliability tests.

Performing and complying with engineering changes, modifications, and upgrades.

Maintaining and documenting all work performed in compliance with FAA and Gulfstream standards.

Supporting aircraft certification, final phase testing, and flight testing if required.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, FOD control, tool accountability, and 5S/Lean practices.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and adapt to sudden schedule changes.

High School Diploma or GED (required).

Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two (2) years of related experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Strong troubleshooting skills in avionics and preferably other aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural repairs).

Ability to climb stairs/ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred certifications:
-
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

FCC license.
-
NCATT certification.

Must be 18+ and able to pass background and drug screenings.
