We are seeking a proactive Beer Quality Control Specialist skilled in identifying and resolving issues. Your main responsibilities will include checking beer pallets for errors, making necessary corrections, documenting discrepancies, and reporting to the Area Manager to ensure accountability. Additionally, you will adhere to company policies while managing materials, and may assist with inventory control, sales pickup, shipping & receiving, and returns, all while maintaining a secure and clean logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and correct inaccuracies on beer pallets
  • Ensure loads are properly stacked and secured
  • Maintain records to monitor picker accuracy
  • Submit daily equipment checklists and report issues
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Keep the facility neat, tidy, and organized
  • Assist with logistics security
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ideally, six months of relevant experience
  • Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts preferred

Critical Skills:

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to utilize company technology and sustain product knowledge
  • Familiarity with computerized handheld devices
  • Skills in inventory and quality control

Working Conditions:

  • Uphold high standards in varying environments, including exposure to heat and humidity
  • Occasionally work in refrigerated areas
  • Manage moderate to loud noise levels, and dust and fumes from equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance
  • Frequent operation of pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Regular activities such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and using hands and fingers
  • Stack, unstack, and relocate products frequently
  • Lift 50-65 lbs, including overhead lifting
  • Specific vision abilities for close and distance work
