Description

Biomedical Equipment Technician
**$40/hour**
*Part time, 3 days per week*

Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a biomedical equipment technician on a U.S. Veteran's Administration contract with our customer in Aurora, CO.   This is assignment should last approximately six months and could be extended.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Biomedical engineering staff will provide the contractor with a list of medical equipment requiring preventative maintenance for each week.
  • Biomedical engineering staff will either escort the contractor to the equipment or bring the equipment down to the biomedical engineering shop for the contractor to complete the preventative maintenance. 
  • The Contractor shall report to and log in with Biomedical Engineering prior to performing any services.
  • The Contractor shall log out with Biomedical Engineering and notify Biomedical engineering staff of the work and preventative maintenance results that were completed for the day. 
  • Biomedical engineering staff will be responsible for documenting the PM's the contractor has completed in the dedicated Biomedical engineering CMMS system (Nuvolo).
  • The contractor will notify biomedical engineering staff if any parts are required for the medical equipment to pass a PM.
  • Biomedical engineering staff will order the appropriate parts as needed through the proper VA channels and provide these parts to the contractor to complete the repair.  
  • The contractor will not work additional hours as specified in this contract without approval from the POC, Station Point of Contact, or the CO, contracting officer, as additional hours will accrue additional charges to the contractor.
