What's a typical day as a Claims Examiner? You'll be:

• Managing complex workers' compensation claims from investigation through resolution

• Developing strategic action plans for timely, cost-effective outcomes

• Calculating and issuing benefits and reserves

• Negotiating settlements within authority levels

• Coordinating litigation and managing vendor referrals

• Preparing and submitting state filings within statutory limits

• Identifying subrogation opportunities and handling recoveries

• Maintaining accurate documentation and professional communication with clients and claimants

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

• 4+ years of workers' comp claims experience in Southeast jurisdictions: AL, GA, FL, NC, SC, TN (required)

• Availability to start immediately or within 2 weeks

• A bachelor's degree (preferred)

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills

• Solid knowledge of state workers' comp laws, medical management practices, and cost-containment strategies

• High attention to detail and professional communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
