Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Operator to join our quality assurance team on a direct hire basis. The CMM Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to support first article, in-process, and final inspections. This role requires expertise with PC-DMIS and/or Calypso software, a strong understanding of engineering documentation, and a commitment to excellence in compliance and communication. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CMMs for inspection of components and assemblies
- Develop and maintain CMM programs for first article, in-process, and final inspections using PC-DMIS/Calypso software
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications to ensure complete measurement and documentation of all customer requirements
- Complete first article inspection documentation in compliance with AS9102 standards
- Maintain AS9100 quality system standards
- Create non-conformance reports as needed and communicate findings appropriately
- Collaborate effectively with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Production departments
- Perform related duties as assigned to support department objectives
- Degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, or technical school
- 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in CMM programming using PC-DMIS and/or Calypso software
- Strong knowledge of blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and Form, Fit, and Function principles
- Understanding of AS9102 First Article Inspection process
- Proficient in 3D CAD software
- Demonstrated application of inspection methods and interpretation of GD&T
- Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments; aerospace industry knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- On-site work required; remote work is not available
