Job Details:
Currently seeking all shifts!
Pay Rate: $25-$28 depending on shift and experience level
Must have relevant manufacturing and brazing experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Join copper components by heating and melting filler metal to create strong bonds.
- Interpret technical drawings and written instructions to ensure accurate assembly and placement.
- Safely operate single- and dual-tip torches for precise heat control.
- Clean, prepare, and assemble copper pipes and fittings for the brazing process.
- Conduct visual inspections and leak testing on brazed components to ensure quality standards.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including proper handling of compressed gases.
- Operate and monitor brazing furnaces and related machinery as required.
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and promote good housekeeping practices.
- Measure, mark, and fit metal components using hand and power tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of brazing techniques and processes.
- Proficiency in torch handling, particularly oxy-fuel torches.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Understanding of metallurgy and the properties of metals for proper bonding.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of safety equipment.
- Meticulous attention to detail for creating strong, leak-proof joints.
- Physical stamina to handle strenuous tasks and work at heights.
- Team player with effective collaboration skills.
