CTE Technician

Overview:
The CTE Technician plays a key role in facilitating and expediting the vendor payment process, from invoice submission to payment receipt. This position is vital for ensuring billing accuracy, resolving payment delays, and coordinating activities across various site functions and vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with approximately 30 maintenance vendors, ensuring billing and error corrections are up to date.
  • Analyze SES/CATS data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Notify the Contract Administrator of vendor billing delays and work collaboratively with both the Contract Administrator and vendors to resolve and expedite payments.
  • Facilitate vendor training on payment processes and error resolution procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and correct all vendor billing errors originating from Dow.
  • Coordinate SES rejections in SAP by mediating between plant representatives and vendors to achieve resolution.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of GMWP, P2P, Sourcing, and vendor roles as they relate to CATS and SES processes.

Required Skills:
  • Successfully meets the requirements of the Central Time Entry Qualification Review Board within 6 months of entering the role (for new employees) or within 3 months after program implementation (for current employees).
  • Proficient with SAP, Diamond Systems Analytics, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Access, and purchasing systems.
  • Ability to independently gather and analyze electronic data to resolve issues.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work across departments to implement innovative solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education/Certification Requirements:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
