What's a typical day as a Customer Service Call Center Professional? You'll be:
  • Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, written communication, web, or walk-in.
  • Researching and resolving non-routine inquiries.
  • Reviewing and adjudicating claims and non-medical appeals.
  • Ensuring effective customer relations by providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Handling situations that may require adaptation of response or extensive research.
  • Examining and processing claims and appeals according to regulations and guidelines.
  • Identifying and reporting potential fraud and abuse situations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Have good spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
  • Are proficient in basic business math.
  • Can handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have at least 2 years of call center experience, including 1 year of claims or appeals processing.
  • Can work onsite at the client location in Columbia, SC.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
