Honda is seeking a Data Entry Clerk with experience with automotive repair documentation (repair orders, warranty claims, technical bulletins) to join our team in Torrance, CA. This is a 1st shift position with a competitive salary of $20.00/hour and a rewarding work environment. Long Term Assignment.
Job Description:
The Campaign Data Entry Clerk will contribute to the maintenance of AHM's vehicle and customer data related to our proactive market actions, such as recalls, product updates, and warranty extensions. This position is predominantly focused on manual entry of both typed and handwritten information from dealers, customers, and internal departments, demanding meticulous attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
- Review and close campaign statuses based on:
- Customer Service requests
- Campaign Status Change Forms received via fax or email from dealers
- File repair orders and other campaign-related documentation from dealers and internal departments
- Enter invoices into tracking sheets
- Sort and send return mail and customer information change cards to the appropriate vendor(s)
- Follow up with dealers providing deficient information
- Perform general office duties and complete ad hoc research tasks
Required Skills:
- Typing, Filing, and Data Entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (building tables & lists)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (creating labels & tags)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Customer Service
- Familiarity with automotive repair documentation (repair orders, warranty claims, technical bulletins) is a plus
Position Factors:
- No travel; partial work-from-home
