The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing process equipment throughout all areas of the facility. This role involves technical work requiring sound judgment within established practices and procedures, with supervisory support available for atypical situations.

Location: White Bear Lake
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $30-31/hr
Schedule: Day Shift, 6am-6pm, 2-2-3 schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • roubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems across plant equipment.

  • Accurately document all work completed in the daily Individual Shift Report.

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels by properly logging parts usage and notifying supervisors of low stock.

  • Conduct general building maintenance and repairs as needed.

  • Perform electrical repairs on single-phase and three-phase power distribution systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment control wiring and electrical systems. Inspect equipment and independently perform corrective actions within the scope of a Class B Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, or 2 years with relevant technical training specific to facility equipment.

  • Proficient in single-phase electrical systems and motors.

  • Advanced knowledge of three-phase electrical distribution systems.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and effectively troubleshoot control circuits.

  • Proficient in the use of electrical testing instruments (e.g., continuity testers, amp meters, voltage testers).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience performing complex equipment repairs and adjustments.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
