Kelly Services is partnering with a Customer in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and we have an immediate opening for a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician!

Wage: $25 - 30/hour based on experience

Schedule: Day Shift 10:00am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday

Location: Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Repair equipment safely, with as sense of urgency, as break downs occur
• Perform Preventative Maintenance according to system schedules
• Provide technical assistance for new equipment purchases and production floor modifications
• Execute and promote safety and risk assessment with all tasks
• Assemble required documentation to transfer new product designs to production.
• Perform & troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general repairs
• Assist in facility additions & renovations
• Understand that Maintenance Technician position is on call in the event of a production schedule emergency.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Specialized Training/Schooling in Trades or Mechanical Institution (preferred)
• 10 years' experience with electrical and NEC codes in a manufacturing environment.
• 10 years' experience with mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment 
• Experience in troubleshooting/programing PLCs and Fanuc Controls.
• Appropriate combination of education and experience may also be acceptable
• Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting
• An aptitude for trade skills in conjunction to facilities and equipment is essential for providing day to day reliability in regard to production
• All of duties and responsibilities MUST be done with a commitment and understanding of company safety policies such as LOTO, elevated work, PPE, Hot Work, and general workplace safety including Arc Flash
• Proficient and competent with technical tools, instructions, schematics, and drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
• Experience with CMM Software
• Basic shop math at a minimum
• Welding and fabrication
• Technical capacity including decision making, communication (both verbal and written) and reporting effectively internally and externally
