QUALITY ASSURANCE- DOCUMENT CONTROL ASSOCIATE

Overview: We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Document Control Associate to join a Contract Manufacturing facility in Wayne, NJ. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines by implementing and maintaining effective document control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer document control operations in compliance with cGMP guidelines to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all quality-related documents.
  • Develop and maintain document control procedures, including document creation, review, approval, distribution, and archival processes, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the document lifecycle, including version control, document change control, and periodic review processes, to ensure documents are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely review and approval of documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, specifications, and other quality-related documents.
  • Conduct regular audits of document control systems and processes to identify and address compliance gaps or discrepancies.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on document control procedures and cGMP requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of regulatory inspections and audits by maintaining accurate and readily accessible document records.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure quality objectives are met.
Qualifications:
  • Some experience in document control or quality assurance within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Understanding of cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
