Document Control Specialist
Food/Pharma
McKinney, TX area

As a Document Control Specialist in the food and pharmaceutical space, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all critical company documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting overall quality initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Manage and organize internal and external documents throughout their lifecycle.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards, including cGMP standards.
  • Procedure Implementation: Implement and maintain robust document control procedures and systems.
  • Access & Confidentiality: Control document access and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Quality Checks: Perform thorough quality checks on documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Retrieval & Archiving: Efficiently handle document retrieval and archiving processes.
  • Audit Support: Assist in both internal and external audits.
  • Training: Train team members on document control processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Quality Management is often preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and document control processes.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal) and analytical abilities.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team environment.
  • Target Salary: $50-60K; BOE
