Electrical Engineer (Levels III–VI)
San Luis Obispo, CA or Fort Worth, TX – Multiple Openings, Relocation Assistance Available, DIRECT HIRE

Kelly® Engineering is hiring full-time Electrical Engineers for a leading aerospace and autonomous systems company. You'll help develop electrical systems for advanced unmanned aircraft in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for unmanned aircraft.
- Work on analog/digital circuits, microcontrollers, and power electronics.
- Create and improve wire harness designs using Altium or similar tools.
- Integrate electrical components with software, mechanical, and flight teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware and resolve technical issues.
- (Senior levels) Lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Keep detailed technical documentation.
What We're Looking For:
Level III–IV:
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Strong skills in circuit design, power systems, and hands-on hardware work.
- Experience with Altium or similar ECAD tools.
- System integration and troubleshooting experience.
Level V–VI:
- 10+ years' experience, especially in aerospace or safety-critical systems.
- Deep expertise in circuit and embedded hardware design.
- Leadership experience in technical projects or mentoring.
All Levels:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with analog/digital circuits and CAN communication.
- U.S. citizenship required (security regulations).
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
Bonus Skills:
- Avionics, unmanned systems, or automotive electronics experience.
- Board-level/component design.
- Advanced electrical testing and validation.
Pay & Benefits:
- $120,000 – $215,000 a year (based on experience and level)
