Description

Position Overview

  • Title: Machine Operator, $19 per hour Monday-Friday ENTRY LEVEL 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. 

  • Reports To: Production Manager

  • Purpose: Operate equipment and perform tasks related to manufacturing, assembling, printing, and packaging products per set specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce, package, and label products to meet quality standards.

  • Operate manufacturing and measurement equipment safely.

  • Notify Team Lead of any equipment issues or inability to meet standards.

  • Meet or exceed assigned production due dates.

  • Ensure product quality and accountability for all manufactured items.

  • Accurately complete required documentation (reading and writing).

  • May assist in process, product, and tooling validation.

  • Maintain clean work area and follow gowning procedures.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Required Knowledge
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality standards.

  • Ability to use hand tools.

  • Understanding of material handling and labeling.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of microscope use.

Skills and Abilities
  • Comply with policies, SOPs, work instructions, and quality regulations.

  • Complete documentation daily and accurately.

  • Maintain safety and hygiene in a clean room setting.

  • Regular, reliable attendance.

  • Work well in a team.

  • Support continuous improvement (GROWTTH initiatives).

  • Ability to become forklift certified (if needed).

  • Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Sedentary to moderate physical work (walking, standing, pulling, etc.).

  • Ability to carry up to 30 lbs.

  • Good visual acuity and hand dexterity.

  • Repetitive motion tasks; clean, controlled work environment.
