Executive Assistant
Location: Waterbury, CT (In-Office)
Reports To: Co-Founder & CEO
Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
Employment Type: Full-Time

The RoleThe company is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and mission-driven Executive Assistant to support its Co-Founder and CEO. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
As Executive Assistant, you will work directly with the CEO to manage daily priorities, streamline operations across the office and lab, and help bring structure to a rapidly evolving organization. You will serve as a trusted partner, enabling the CEO to focus on strategy, growth, and scientific advancement.
Key Responsibilities Executive Support-
Manage and optimize the CEO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing requests, and anticipating conflicts

Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, lodging, agendas, and itineraries

Act as a gatekeeper and liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders

Organize and track tasks, projects, and follow-ups across office and laboratory teams

Help establish and maintain systems for task management, documentation, and internal communication

Support coordination between scientific, operational, and business functions

Assist with day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth and productive work environment

Support logistics related to lab operations, meetings, and internal workflows (non-scientific)

Help onboard new team members and coordinate internal resources

Handle special projects and initiatives as needed

Assist with preparation of presentations, reports, and materials for meetings or investors

Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization in a growing startup environment
Required:
-
3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role

Experience supporting a senior executive, preferably in a startup environment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

High level of professionalism, discretion, and trustworthiness

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and task management tools

Experience in biotech, life sciences, or technology companies
