Kelly® is looking for a Facilities Technician to work at a premier client facility in New Brighton, MN. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.86 per hour 1st Shift ( 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Monday to Friday. Why you should apply to be Facilities Technician:

- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, building systems, and mechanical equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Troubleshooting and fixing faulty electrical switches, lighting, HVAC rooftop units, as well as unclogging drains
- Building partitions, making repairs to drywall, roofs, windows, doors, and facility structures; painting as needed
- Maintaining and repairing equipment in cafeterias, laboratories, offices, and factory areas
- Overseeing outside contractors performing repairs or upgrades; obtaining necessary supplies and repair parts
- Performing preventive maintenance such as inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and maintaining checklists and records
- Using hand and power tools, specialized equipment, and electronic testing devices as required
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and updating work orders via computer systems or email
- Have experience in facility maintenance, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC roles (must-have)
- Possess strong technical and mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and problem-solving abilities
- Can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, service manuals, and written instructions
- Are flexible to switch tasks quickly, able to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, cramped/at heights), and can stand/walk/lift for extended periods
- Are comfortable using computers for email, work order updates, and basic data entry
- Can work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow established safety protocols
- Willing to participate in mandatory safety and technical training provided by the company
