Final Inspector I – 3rd Shift

Clyde, NY
Monday–Friday | 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
$21.62 – $27.02 per hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Second shifts available.

Kelly Services is hiring a Final Inspector I for a growing manufacturing facility in Clyde, NY. This is a great opportunity for an experienced manufacturing inspector who enjoys precision work, problem-solving, and ensuring high-quality finished products.

What You'll Do
  • Inspect components, sub-assemblies, and finished products

  • Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, comparators, and other precision tools

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications

  • Perform in-process and final inspections

  • Record inspection results and support quality documentation

  • Identify nonconforming material and partner with production and quality teams

  • Support shipment deadlines and production flow

What We're Looking For Required:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience using precision measuring tools

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred (But Not Required):
  • 1+ year inspection experience

  • Weld or braze inspection knowledge

  • Experience with metal deburring

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

If you have solid manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude, we're willing to train the right candidate on specialized processes.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods

  • Lift up to 50 lbs

  • Close visual inspection work
