Position Overview
Talking Rain Beverage Company is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations at our Preston, WA facility. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods while supporting production flow in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.
This position offers a compressed workweek, allowing employees to enjoy extended time off while maintaining full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach, or clamp as assigned)
Load and unload trailers, trucks, and production lines
Transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility
Stage product accurately for production, storage, or shipment
Perform inventory movements using RF scanners or warehouse systems
Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
Follow all OSHA, GMP, and Talking Rain safety and quality standards
Support warehouse and production teams as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of forklift operating experience preferred
Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and early morning hours
Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain on-site)
Experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments
Familiarity with RF scanners, WMS, or inventory systems
Experience supporting high-volume production operations
