Job Title: General Laborer
Location: 303 and Camelback, Goodyear, AZ
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Schedule:

  • Start Time: 5:30 AM
  • Shifts: 8, 10-12 hour shifts available

Join our team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility! We are looking for dedicated General Laborers to assist with the loading and unloading of furniture in a fast-paced environment. Our workplace is air-conditioned for your comfort. Job Description:
As a General Laborer, you will follow verbal and written instructions related to production schedules and shipping documents. You will be responsible for safely moving and stacking materials and finished goods within the warehouse and staging areas. The role involves extensive manual labor, including lifting, loading, and unloading various products, particularly chairs. Attention to detail is crucial, as the merchandise is expensive and must be handled carefully to avoid damage. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely move and stack materials in and around the warehouse and trailers.
  • Load and unload furniture with a partner, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Follow instructions to fulfill production schedules and shipping documents.
  • Use bar code readers and electronic devices to track product as needed.
  • Maintain organization and plan routes to maximize efficiency.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to exert in excess of 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly.
  • Capable of lifting 35-50 lbs from the floor to waist; lifting 50-80 lbs from waist to shoulders; and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequent carrying of items exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Ability to reach forward, laterally, and occasionally over the shoulders.
  • Ability to grasp with moderate force.
  • Willingness to rotate to other work in the zone, department, or any part of Distribution as required.
  • Must be organized and capable of planning routes to maximize efficiency and prevent delays.
  • Ability to speak English (required).
