Why you should apply to be a General Utility Associate:
  • Pay Rate: 18.25/hr

  • Location: Brighton, MI

  • Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday (Saturday as required)

  • Employment Type: Contract (3 months)

What's a typical day as a General Utility Associate? You will:
  • Set up molds and ensure proper specifications are followed.

  • Read and interpret job travelers and documentation accurately.

  • Select and change films as needed for specific molds.

  • Adjust foam amounts to meet production requirements.

  • Assist in changeovers to keep production flowing.

  • Inspect cushions for quality, identify product issues, and maintain equipment.

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including removing and replacing scrap materials.

  • Keep foam guns clean and clear of blockages.

  • Track waste and maintain accurate production records.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • A High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

  • At least 1 year of machine operation or manufacturing experience (2 years preferred).

  • Experience working with foam (a plus).

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to read and write instructions.

  • Motivation to learn new tasks and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
