What's a typical day as Heavy Handling Technician (Contract)? You'll be:

• Safely transporting and handling heavy aircraft components and aviation materials within the facility.
• Operating lifting and handling equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and specialized transport vehicles.
• Performing routine maintenance, checks, and troubleshooting of handling equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to streamline logistics and material flow.
• Maintaining accurate records of equipment use and materials handled, and supporting inventory and logistics tasks as needed.
• Adhering strictly to OSHA and Kelly Services safety standards and protocols.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have proven experience in heavy handling or a similar technical/mechanical role.
• Are proficient with forklifts, cranes, and other industrial transport equipment.
• Possess a strong safety mindset and are familiar with occupational and facility safety regulations.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED; vocational training or certifications in heavy equipment operation are preferred.
• Excel working collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
