HR Operations Coordinator (Temp-to-Perm) – Utica, NY

Kelly Services is partnering with a local client in Utica, NY to recruit an HR Operations Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to grow their career in a hands-on, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Support employee communications and site-wide messaging
  • Assist with scheduling, tracking, and logistics 
  • Help plan and execute employee engagement events and recognition programs
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR support and motivate a positive work culture 
  • Support site-wide engagement initiatives and surveys
  • Manage incoming mail and deliveries, including receiving, sorting, and distributing correspondence and packages in a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications

  • Prior HR or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong interest in building a long-term HR career
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and shifts
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external individuals as needed.

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
  • Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week, 1-hour lunch)
  • Flexibility required at times to support events across all three shifts
  • Location: Utica, NY
  • Pay Rate: $19–$22/hour, based on experience and qualifications
