We are looking for an HR Director with at least 2 years of recruiting and human resources experience.
Duties would be approximately:
40% - recruiting: sourcing, screening and scheduling (warehouse and other general positions; not high volume)
30% - reception and office admin. - this includes managing non-exempt timecards and payroll paperwork to be sent to the payroll manager in Northbrook
20% - new hire orientations, exit interviews, and initial employee meetings (any mid or major issues get escalated to Witney). Handle paperwork, but it gets sent to HR Corporate in Northbrook for processing so it-s mostly clerical.
10% - organize company parties, lunches and events
Ideal candidate has 2 years of HR support experience, a college degree, professional boundaries & demeanor (i.e. isn-t going to party or mingle too closely with staff), strong communication & MS Office skills, ability to keep HR info. private & confidential, and strong in social media (LinkedIn and other recruitment tools).
Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 5:30am and Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
