Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing company, is looking for an Industrial Sewer in Salt Lake City, UT!

These are direct hire positions meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation package upon hire!

Details:

• Shift available: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities
The Sample Maker collaborates with design, development, and pattern teams at GMP to turn concepts into functional prototypes. The ideal candidate efficiently produces accurate samples, identifies manufacturing challenges, resolves assembly issues, and understands end-use requirements. Their feedback during prototyping is crucial for refining designs and ensuring products are ready for high-quality mass production

• Sew and assemble backpack samples from design sketches, CAD patterns, and specification packages
• Assist product team with assembly methods and other sewing problems

• Effectively communicate and troubleshoot with the patternmaker and product team
• Verifies pattern set for accuracy and integrity.
• Evaluation and measurement of finished prototypes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sample lab tools and raw materials.
• Administrative responsibilities including maintaining common areas, distributing mail, and shipping packages

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Sewer
