Position: Inventory Control Coordinator
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour

Job Description:
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete all internal and external customer requests. Your position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse, including receiving material, bin transactions, and scheduling trucks for incoming and outgoing materials on a daily basis.
A Day in the Life:

  • Work safely following all safety requirements.
  • Receive, examine, sort, arrange, count, and ship items in accordance with established SOP procedures and customer requirements.
  • Conduct cycle counting of raw materials used in the production process.
  • Prepare accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.
  • Practice good housekeeping and keep inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Verify accurate storage conditions of products and notify the Supervisor of any inventory issues such as Can't Find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
  • Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain collaborative relationships and teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
  • Up to 6 months of work experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Ability to read and follow instructions both written and oral.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • General warehouse experience.
  • Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel and ERP systems for transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic math operations: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stand and move about, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to operational needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled environment with additional overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
  • Use of specific PPE, including gloves, hair & beard net, and safety glasses without makeup/jewelry.
  • The role involves a 50% office work and 50% warehouse inventory position.
