Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Pay rate: $65 to $75 per hour

Duration: 05/06/2024 to 10/31/2024

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Johnston, IA, 50131

These are hybrid positions that require 4 days/week in the Johnston IA office. These positions are not open to fully remote candidates.

This team is looking for (2) full stack developers to work on the financial elements of a new Dealer facing platform called Sales Center. This team is responsible for developing the Installment financing and Leasing financing parts of the product.

Duties:

  • Develops, codes, configures, and tests programs and systems.
  • Evaluates and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost,
  • quality, and performance of software applications.
  • Analyzes assignments and determines software specifications that must be
  • fulfilled to achieve objectives.
  • Executes necessary documentation, as directed, or needed.
  • Collaborates with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure
  • that features meet business needs.
  • Follows industry-standard agile software design methodology for development
  • and documentation.

Day to day:

Work in Agile/Scrum and XP.. daily standup, Sprint Ceremonies, Pair Programming and TDD

Must haves:

  • 6+ years developing experience with React, Redux, and Typescript
  • 5+ years of experience with Java Spring
  • 5+ years in Agile development practices including Paired Programming, CI/CD and DevOps
  • 5+ years of experience with Test Driven Design across multiple platforms and toolsets
  • 5+ years of experience with Restful API design and implementation
  • 3+ years with AWS services and cloud development
