This is a direct hire position meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation package upon hire!

Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrical License for Michigan
- Familiarity with the 203 NEC code update
- Five years of Electrical Tech experience
Job Description:
The Journeyman Electrical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment in accordance with state and local codes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, reading blueprints and technical diagrams, and ensuring all work meets safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a valid Michigan journeyman electrician license, is knowledgeable in both commercial and industrial electrical systems, and has strong problem-solving and communication skills. Some travel to job sites within Michigan may be required.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment electrical problems and identifying and then eliminating the root cause
- Team oriented with qualities capable of working with others and sharing technical information
- Work on small projects as time permits
- Will be trained on and able to operate a scissor lift or boom lift and work at heights
- Will be trained on and able to operate a PIT
- Create work orders and enter job time entry (JTE) for them
- Attend daily meetings and discuss electrical problems and issues with the manufacturing equipment
