Join a Leading Commercial Laboratory as a Laboratory Analyst – Entry to Mid-Level
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Laboratory Analyst to join our team at a fast-paced, accredited commercial testing facility. This role supports critical testing for clients in the environmental, food, and life sciences sectors. The ideal candidate is a science professional with a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.
Position SummaryThe Laboratory Analyst will perform a range of analytical and sample preparation tasks under general supervision. This position is responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and analyzing samples using industry-standard protocols and instrumentation in support of client testing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous lab experience who is looking to build a career in applied science with advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses using standard laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, or similar) following SOPs and quality system requirements (ISO/IEC 17025, NELAC, FDA, or EPA guidelines).

Prepare standards, reagents, media, and quality control materials for sample analyses with strict adherence to documentation protocols.

Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment; ensure daily logs and calibration records are accurate and complete.

Collect, process, and analyze samples with attention to turnaround times, client specifications, and accreditation requirements.

Maintain complete and accurate records of analyses, quality control results, and lab notebooks in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Enter and verify data in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and support data review and troubleshooting as needed.

Assist in investigations, corrective actions, or process improvements related to quality, safety, or regulatory compliance.

Promote and follow all safety procedures and participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field (Associate degree with significant lab experience will be considered).

1+ years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment (industrial, environmental, pharmaceutical, or food testing preferred).

Demonstrated experience using analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP, FTIR, or spectrophotometers is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of GLP, GMP, ISO 17025, or other quality systems.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities under time-sensitive conditions.

Comfortable working with hazardous materials and following strict safety protocols.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and LIMS platforms.
