Manufacturing Engineering Technician - The purpose of this role is to work with the Supply Chain Quality group, primarily to review casting part inspection reports layout within the qualification and monitoring of the process for casting manufacturing tools. Product Type: Blades, Vanes, structural casting Casting Type: Sand casting or lost-wax investment casting Detailed Responsibilities: Support the development team on projects requiring dimensional qualification of production tools. Ensure report accuracy and eliminate any errors. Review previous dispositions. Liaise between engineering and suppliers regarding any additional questions or requests. Provide engineering with the compliant inspection report. Identify corrective actions and improvement opportunities for reports containing errors submitted to engineering. Support the team to ensure no quality escape occurs in the process. Ensures that required actions are initiated if there is a potential quality escape. Supports the quality specialist team on various tasks or projects as required. Requirements: Technical diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience or Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
