Kelly, in partnership with a large warehousing organization, is looking for a Machine Operator (Die Cutter) in Sandston, VA! Our client is growing and adding skilled technicians to their existing maintenance team!
This is a direct hire Machine Operator (Die Cutter) position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
• Set up the die cutter machine accurately and within the allotted time, ensuring it runs at or above the designated speed.
• Verify job docket details, confirm loads to be die cut, match docket information, and properly document all paperwork and WIP tickets.
• Set up and position pallets correctly in the delivery section to ensure efficient operation from the start of each run.
• Check retains and folds for each pallet, inspecting samples from each die position to identify any cutting defects.
• Isolate loads with print or cutting defects according to guidelines, flag or identify defective pallets, and promptly inform QA of any issues found.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed to support production and quality requirements.
Required Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience operating sheet-fed die cutters, or similar printing equipment
• Demonstrate leadership and initiative while effectively working as part of a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts including overtime and weekend work as scheduled
