Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift | Pontiac, MI
We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Auburn Hills, MI! This is a full-time, direct hire role offering competitive pay, stability, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Shift Options:
  • Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Pay Range: $22.00 – $31.00 per hour (based on experience)

Role Summary:
The Maintenance Technician supports production by installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment across both facilities. This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on thermoforming machinery and facility equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Dismantle and repair or replace defective components.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Use power tools, hand tools, forklifts/Hi-Los, and other shop equipment.
• Perform welding, cutting, carpentry, and electrical repair work.
• Record maintenance data, equipment readings, and completed work.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety practices and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and plant operations.
• Must provide own tools and rolling toolbox.
• Strong electrical knowledge (HMI, PLC, high/low voltage, machine controls).
• Strong mechanical and carpentry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
