Maintenance Technician – Adel, GA
We are seeking a self-sufficient Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility located in Adel, GA. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for keeping equipment in top condition and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our plant, utilizing your expertise in PCLs, blueprints, and pneumatic systems.
Local candidates only: Relocation assistance is not available. Applicants must live within a commutable distance to Adel, GA.
Safety First: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for all employees. Depending on the tasks and work area, required PPE may include safety footwear, gloves, safety glasses, face masks, and, when applicable, hazmat suits and respirators. Adhering to these protocols is essential for everyone's safety.
Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Independently diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems—including those governed by PCLs—and replace or repair components as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Respond rapidly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Perform, document, and improve proactive maintenance using blueprints, manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Equipment Upkeep: Ensure machinery—including pneumatic and conveying systems—is running at peak reliability and efficiency; suggest and implement enhancements as identified.
  • Safety Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
  • Tool & Equipment Usage: Operate cranes, hoists, hand/power tools, measurement instruments, and electronic testing devices safely and independently.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to resolve equipment issues.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools for efficient workflows.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and parts usage.
  • Additional Contributions: Operate machines to assist with troubleshooting or supplement production when required.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance, or a technical degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing & Maintenance, or similar, plus 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Technical Must-Haves:
  • Demonstrated PCL troubleshooting/maintenance experience
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Expertise in pneumatic systems and controls
  • Solid understanding of electric motors/motor systems (480v and below) and basic instrumentation (level, flow, temperature, HMIs)
  • Robust mechanical skills: conveyors, fans, rotating equipment, packaging machinery
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs., ascend/descend stairs frequently, and enter confined spaces. Welding (arc/stick/MIG, stainless a plus) preferred.
  • Availability: Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, able to interact with all levels of the organization. Compensation & Benefits
    • Hourly Rate: $24–$28 per hour
    • Annual Bonus Target: Harvest and Christmas bonuses
