Manufacturing & Production Opportunities - Stanley Black & Decker (Hustler Mower Plant) – Hesston, KS

Available Shifts & Pay Rates

  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday | $17.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday | $19.00/hr
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday | $18.50/hr
  • Note: 2nd and 3rd shift roles will require at least 1 week of training on 1st shift

Open Roles & Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Operator & Robot Loader
  • Perform safety checks and clean fabrication equipment
  • Offload, form, and deliver materials to upstream departments
  • Control robot operations, including cleaning and inspection
  • Use hand tools (grinders, scrapers) for metal finishing

2. Welder (MIG)
  • Fit and weld parts using MIG welding processes
  • Assemble parts into welding jigs and tack according to blueprints/drawings
  • Maintain a clean workspace following 5S standards
  • Technical certification preferred

3. Paint Line Associate
  • Assist in powder coating operations (hanging parts, hooks, or "trees" onto conveyor lines).
  • Transfer metal parts by hand or using jib/bridge cranes
  • Inspect painted parts for quality compliance

4. Assembly Line Operator
  • Assemble sub-assemblies or complete units at a bench or on the floor
  • Fasten parts using hand tools and portable power tools
  • Read and interpret operation standards and blueprints

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Ability to perform manual movement, lifting, and clamping
  • Dedicated to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work within a standardized build process and interact in daily safety meetings
