Pay: $145k - $165k based on experience, plus bonus
Hours: Daytime

Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Manager leads their team of professionals who are in the sales and marketing area of the company. The Sales Manager monitors market developments, creates strategies, develops sales plans, and maintains customer relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises sales and customer service team members.
  • Manages employee productivity to ensure company goals are met.
  • Corrects and documents performance as needed.
  • Thoroughly trains and cross-trains team members as needed.
  • Prepares and completes sales & marketing strategic plan.
  • Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions.
  • Accomplishes marketing and sales staff objectives by leading the sales / customer service team.
  • Develops and implements sales & customer service policies and procedures.
  • Defines and communicates customer service standards.
  • Reviews and assesses customer service contracts.
  • Directs the daily operations of the customer service team.
  • Plans, prioritizes, and delegates work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the sales & customer service department.
  • Ensures the necessary resources and tools are available for quality customer service delivery.
  • Manages complex and escalated customer service issues.
  • Monitors accuracy of reporting and data base information.
  • Identifies and implements strategies to improve quality of service, productivity, and profitability.
  • Co-ordinates and manages customer service projects and initiatives.
  • Ensures budget requirements are met.
  • Performs any other associated job-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Education:

  • 5-8 years of successful Sales Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of direct supervisory experience of Sales/ Customer Service positions
  • In depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Successful experience working on a team and managing a team
  • Proficient in Hub Spot a plus
  • Proficient Computer skills: ERP system, Microsoft Office (E-mail, Word, Excel), and sourcing information on the internet
