Kelly® is seeking an experienced Master Data Administrator to support a leading oil and gas client in Houston, Texas 77002. This critical position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of SAP vendor and customer master data while staying in compliance with company practices and policies. The role reports directly to the Supply Chain Advisor and interfaces with various levels of management.
Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Local candidates only)
Contract Length: 1 Year (Possible extension)
Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour (DOE)
Essential Duties & Functions:
- Maintain safety and security of the organization's network database, integration, and processing.
- Ensure adherence to master data governance, policies, and procedures.
- Review incoming requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain data quality control procedures.
- Perform regular audits of master data for accuracy and completeness.
- Support internal/external audit activities and risk management protocols.
- Identify and act on opportunities for improved accuracy, efficiency, standardization, and rationalization of master data.
- Ensure correct storage of Tax and Banking documentation.
- Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for vendor data new/change requests.
- Supporting data cleansing and improvement activities.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance-Accounts Payable, Commercial, and Settlements on vendor and customer management.
- Resolve master data issues or problems as they arise.
- Deliver excellent customer service while interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with retention policies.
- Update process guidelines and procedures as needed.
- Identify, develop, and implement process efficiencies and improvements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs and control reports.
- Ensure controls prevent conflicts of interest.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
- 5–10 years' related SAP Vendor and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance.
- Strong experience with SAP ERP vendor/customer master data systems (required).
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Capable of interfacing professionally with multiple organizations and management levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates punctuality, flexibility, and a sense of urgency.
- Proven process improvement experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough.
- Strong planning, persuasion, and communication skills.
- SAP Master Data Governance or MDM certification a plus.
