What a typical day as an Materials Handler II might look like:
l We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Materials Handler with expertise in AS9100, the aerospace industry's quality management system standard.
l As a Materials Handler, you will be responsible for effectively managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within our organization.
l Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient inventory control, accurate documentation, and compliance with AS9100 requirements.
l This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the AS9100 standard.
l This Material Handler will be doing Materials Receiving and needs to have ORACLE experience - primary support to receiving department- secondary support to shipping and inventory
Receive incoming materials, verify contents against accompanying documentation, and inspect for quality and accuracy.
l Identify and properly label materials for storage or distribution, ensuring adherence to AS9100 requirements.
l Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
l Implement proper storage techniques to ensure the preservation and protection of materials, including adherence to handling and environmental requirements.
