Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Salinas, CA
Duration: Temporary (~1 Month)
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, overtime as needed About the Role:
Join our warehouse team at P1 Interstate Batteries to assist with battery handling, inventory, and general warehouse operations. This is a physically demanding, team-based role. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle batteries (team lift for items over 50 lbs)
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe (environment may be dusty and loud)
• Process new, used, and old batteries for recycling
• Build and shrink wrap pallets of batteries
• Perform general labor and shipping/receiving tasks
• Move batteries (5-100 lbs) using carts for transport within warehouse and from retail area
• Pull batteries from retail space as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory; use scanner (training provided)
• Follow all safety policies – PPE provided by customer

Qualifications:

• Warehouse and shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Inventory experience required
• Forklift experience a plus
• Physically able to move, lift, and carry batteries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical, and sometimes dusty or loud environment
