Mechanical Assembler -  Kelly Services has partnered with a premier company that is located in Middleboro, MA. 

Mechanical Assembler -
 Will be responsible for the assembly of mechanical and pneumatic products. 
Assemblers will be trained from initial assembly through completion, including packaging of splicers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble splicers and sub-assemblies according to procedures and work instructions
  • Perform assembly utilizing a variety of hand/power tools, including screw drivers, wrenches, drills, hammers, tape measures, etc.
  • Accurately complete job logging through Epicor to account for assembly times
  • Operate overhead crane and other lifting mechanisms as necessary to perform the job safely and efficiently
  • Verify that parts are free of flaws, defects or imperfections and properly reject parts that are non-conformant
  • Maintain proper certifications such as crane and forklift
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly
  • Able to read and work from drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions
  • Capable of lifting 35 pounds and standing for long periods 
Hours for this Mechanical Assembly position is on 1st shift 
Pay for this Mechanical Assembly position is 20 -35 depending on experience.
