Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$22.00 per hour for 6:30am-3:00pm shift
$23.32 per hour for 3:30pm-12:00am shift

What's a typical day as Mechanical Assembler? You'll be:

• Assembling mechanical and electrical units using visual aids, verbal and written instructions.
• Preparing parts for box build and final assembly, following proper hardware sequence.
• Fitting, filing, drilling, and assembling MPI boxes, panels, or performing a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies.  Utilizing rivet guns, electrical screwdrivers, small hand tools, and air compressor tools for assembly tasks.
• Soldering Skills NO soldering skills required
• Proficiency with cutting, stripping, crimping and mounting wires to connect electrical units.
• Using SAP(IFactor specifically)  for confirmation duties.
• Operating simple equipment such as swage, wire prep, preset dies, and cut-off machines.( Using hand tools and drills is a major requirement. They get a lot of candidates in that have never used a torque gun, rivet gun or powertools)
• Ensuring compliance with company security and safety policies.
• Performing other related duties as assigned and may be required to work overtime.
