 Manufacturing Technician (Assembler – Medical Device) | 1st Shift

Location: Redmond, WA
Pay: $23–$28/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician (Assembler) to join a 1st shift production team supporting the assembly of precision medical devices. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, and values teamwork and quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and produce prepped components, subassemblies, and finished goods using microscopes and precision tools.

Operate specialized equipment such as grinders, bead blasters, micro blasters, rubber wheels, satin wheels, armor presses, and steamers.

Perform daily use of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures for detailed assembly work.

Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

Meet production and quality standards as outlined in job routers.

Verify specifications by measuring completed components using calipers, comparators, and other measuring instruments.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Cross-train and support additional areas of production as needed.

Collaborate effectively with team members and support overtime when required.

Minimum Qualifications

6+ months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related production environment.

Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity for fine detail work.

Experience using microscopes and basic measuring tools (calipers, comparators, etc.).

Ability to read, write, and follow English instructions accurately.

Basic math and measurement skills.

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated production environments.

Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, or GMP quality systems.

Background in fine mechanical assembly or precision component production.
