Description

  • Installs and maintains local and wide area network hardware, including Cisco firewalls, FMC, Routers, Switches, Vmware, servers, cabling infrastructure, printers, etc.
  • Implement, and maintain an overall systems backup and recovery strategy (Acronis experience preferred).
  • Implement, and maintain an overall systems antivirus and security policy (Symantec SEPM experience preferred).
  • Installs, configures and maintains Firewall, IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-malware, etc. for maximum internal & external network protection.
  • Deploy and maintain Microsoft Domain including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, WSUS and computer imaging, and provide update to Microsoft Active Directory on regular basis.
  • Implements and maintains network management tools and adding network peripherals according to the existing policy (SolarWinds experience preferred).
  • Performs troubleshooting of network, connectivity, server, storage, and application environment
  • Logs all computer, terminal, and server hardware/software problems. Calls appropriate maintenance organizations and arranges for repair. Notifies Site Network Administrator of unusual problems.
  • Prepare and maintain networking documentation network and cabling layouts.
  • Create and maintain an inventory of property and assets.
  • Collect data to ensure documentation process.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors as needed
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as required.
  • Essential Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

    • Cisco Networking experience; CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
    • Microsoft server experience; MCSE, MCSA certification preferred
    • VMWare experience; certification preferred
    • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
