• Making travel reservations and arranging conferences.
• Composing routine letters and other correspondence.
• Monitoring cameras and downloading video when requested.
• Operating office machines and maintaining supply inventory.
• Planning appointment schedules and managing the department's budget process.
• Updating the department's website and maintaining the Chief's calendar.
• Performing other job-related duties as designated by the Chief of Police.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have an Associate Degree or 3-5 years' experience in a Campus Police setting.
• Have successfully completed courses in business communications, data processing/software applications, typewriting, and general office procedures.
• Have the ability to operate modern office machines, word processors, and personal computers.
• Preferably have a bachelor's degree.
• Are able to pass a clerical test during the interview process.
• Are comfortable with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Can meet the physical demands of the job, including minimum lifting (up to 30 lbs.), standing, walking, and sitting.
