Position Details
Title: Operations Technician
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay Rate: $21.63/hour
Duration: 8 months with opportunity to extend
Schedule:1st 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM M-F  Must be able to work overtime as needed


Position Overview
The Operations Technician supports all aspects of packaging operations, including:

  • Issuing components
  • Final cleaning
  • Pouching
  • Labeling
  • Pack-out
This role requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Manufacturing Documentation (GMD) standards. You'll support R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams throughout product development phases, following Quality Inspection Plans (QIPs), Work Instructions, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Key Responsibilities
  • Work in ISO-certified cleanroom environments
  • Operate ultrasonic washers and convection drying ovens
  • Pull and stage components per work orders and pick lists
  • Perform ultrasonic cleaning processes
  • Package components with detailed work instructions (labeling, boxing, shrink wrapping)

Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma (technical degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of medical device manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience working in an ISO-certified cleanroom
  • Previous packaging experience (labeling, boxing, shrink wrapping)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic

Physical Requirements
  • Annual eye exam required with 20/20 near vision (corrected) and color vision testing
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and move frequently throughout facility
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
