What a typical day as a Payroll Analyst might look like:
Responsibilities:
l Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs.
l Review payroll reports for discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
l Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
l Performs reconciliations, audits, and overpayment recovery activities.
l Ensure all process are followed including ensuring that payroll related controls are performed and report any issues.
l Address payroll-related queries from employees, providing exceptional customer service and support.
l Creates ad-hoc payroll data reports and provides accurate data to management and business partners as needed.
l Assist with internal and external audit.
l Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
l Knowledge of integrated, cross-functional business systems.
l Critical thinking skills to investigate and resolve issues.
l The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in payroll administration as well as a strong knowledge of general labor law, payroll legislation, and accounting principles.?
l Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
l Ability to work in a flexible environment where requirements and procedures continuously evolve.
l Highly ethical, analytical, team-oriented, flexible, inquisitive & logical.
l Must maintain confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy.
l Able to work independently and conduct investigations and resolve related matters.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Qualifications:
l Bachelor's degree with 3 years of payroll experience or High School diploma with 4-5 years of payroll experience
l Good knowledge of payroll processes and compliance requirements including employment law, payroll legislation, etc.
l Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
l SAP payroll or ADP GlobalView experience is required
l Experience working with unions, preferred
l This role may be performed in an office setting or remotely.
l Flexibility may be required during peak payroll cycles or leave processing periods
l Candidates MUST have ADP GlobalView or SAP Payroll experience.
