Job Title: Pesticide Technician
Location: Auburn, NY
Job Type: Full-Time-Direct Hire
Pay rate: $16 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Pesticide Technician to join a growing team in Auburn NY. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing 10–12 client locations per day, applying pest control treatments in and around residential properties. You will provide excellent customer service while ensuring safe and effective application of pesticides.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive to scheduled client stops (10–12 per day) across designated service areas
- Apply pest control treatments according to company and regulatory standards
- Inspect properties for signs of pest activity and recommend appropriate solutions
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain services, answer questions, and provide preventive recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and adhere to all safety protocols
- Operate and maintain equipment and company vehicle in a clean, safe, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Clean and valid driver's license required
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn industry standards and obtain necessary certifications (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
