What's a typical day as a Production Operator? You'll be:
  • Operating machinery efficiently and safely, and assisting with training new/existing operators.
  • Inspecting products for quality, conducting measurements and weight checks, and assembling products as per work instructions.
  • Practicing Lean Manufacturing techniques, participating in safety initiatives, and performing EHS audits.
  • Communicating with your team and leadership to ensure efficient workflow and timely production.
  • Reading and interpreting production schedules, setting up equipment, operating motorized equipment (such as forklifts), and gathering materials as needed.
  • Performing housekeeping duties, maintaining records, and assisting with troubleshooting.
  • Wearing PPE and strictly following safety rules and procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have basic reading and writing skills with the ability to perform simple math, including fractions and decimals.
  • Possess a high level of dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Are able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, twisting, and stooping.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced team environment and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Can read a tape measure and are comfortable working in mildly variable temperatures and a mildly dusty environment.
