Description

Our client is a leading industry manufacturer, offering innovative solutions and services across various sectors. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Production Planner I with robust expertise in SAP and Smartsheet to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is critical in developing and maintaining the Master Production Schedule, optimizing processes, and ensuring inventory control.

Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $70-80K, based on Experience
1st Shift: 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday


 

  • Lead demand, S&OP, and production planning activities in coordination with Sales and Operations.
  • Create and manage production orders, material master data, and BOM/routings in SAP.
  • Monitor inventory levels, schedule updates, and production capacity; communicate issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, engineering) to improve processes and meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare and update Master Production Schedules; assist with job packet preparation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine audits and accurate SAP transactions.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
  • 2–3 years of hands-on Production Planning experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SAP and Smartsheet is REQUIRED.
  • Strong understanding of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
