We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Team Lead to oversee our 1st shift operations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay: $18.75 - $23.50 per hour, depending on experience
Contract opportunity with potential for long term
What You'll Do as a Production Team Lead:
- Lead and coordinate the day to day activities of our production team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform equipment maintenance, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and other teams to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing principles.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a production environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus!
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch within the production area.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
