Job Summary:
Perform various duties related to the testing and troubleshooting of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB), assemblies, or modules.
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot basic analog and digital circuits to the component level.
- Make recommendations to improve current procedures and assist in the implementation of new procedures.
- Work within the limits of prescribed procedures to produce sufficient working PCBs, assemblies, or modules.
- Compile and record repair and test results to ensure compliance with QSR/ISO requirements.
- Discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting with the Group Leader or Supervisor.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate of Science in Electronics Engineering (ASEE) degree or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of related experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data and technical schematics.
- Computer literate, familiar with Oracle, Camstar, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic soldering of PTH and SMT assemblies required.
- IPC Soldering Certification is a plus.
- Must be able to set up and use test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other input-output electronic test equipment.
